Founded in the year of 2013, ZMECO was built up as to supply Liugong, XCMG spare parts, especially for the ZF WG series gearbox / transmission assy and spare parts. 

China Liuzhou ZF Machinery Co., Ltd. is a joint venture jointly invested and established by Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. and Germany ZF Group Co., Ltd. to produce transmission parts of construction machinery. With the approval of the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the two parties to the joint venture signed a joint venture contract at the Great Hall of the people in Beijing on December 12, 1995. The business license was obtained in the same year.

Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock enterprise listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
